Ariel's Oh The Places You'll Go, Hot Air Balloon Cake Smash!

I love when babies come back to see me for their first birthday! In this case, I took Ariel’s Mommy’s maternity photos, AND newborn photos, AND now her first birthday cake smash! How fun! I love love love it. Here’s her beautiful Mommy’s maternity session from August 2018;

Isn’t she absolutely gorgeous? I mean, WOW! And those turned out incredible even with us rushing them in about 10 minutes, with police having to come unlock her car (where she accidentally locked her other outfit in… oops!) It was eventful haha!

I loved these so much, she’s actually featured on a wooden print in my studio as well. SWOON!

Then her newborn session;

She is absolutely adorable right? I love this sweet girl.

Now for the main event here, her BIRTHDAY SESSION! We celebrated with a hot air balloon setup, with pastel colors going on -

Then we had Ariel tot around for us and show off her little baby wobble she has going on. She’s full of smiles, and just the sweetest faces ever!

& then the cake! WHICH SHE LOVED and squished, and smashed, and then I popped a balloon that made her cry with the cutest little cry face (I’m so sorry Ariel haha I still feel bad!) The cake is from the lovely Market Street Bakery, located on Market Street in downtown Mabank Texas, in the heart of East Texas.

Thank you so much, Yessenia, for choosing me to capture all these beautiful memories for you, it has been such a joy and I’m so lucky to have clients like you in my life.

Happy Birthday Ariel! It has been so lovely seeing you grow up this first year.

With love

A day on the town with Maddox!

Maddox turns one and celebrates it with a session in downtown Athens, Tx. We explored between the buildings and hung out in all of her silly greatness! Happy first birthday Max!

It's a.... Gender Reveal!

I spent the evening with a very excited little girl, ready to find out, and announce to the world, if her sibling was a boy or a girl! She was rooting for the bows and tutus, even as we painted her hands she said "That better be pink paint!" (she had her eyes covered)

It wasn't pink paint! She's going to be a big sister to a little bitty mister! Her reaction was SO cute/funny/hilarious/priceless. I love being able to capture the little moments. While I'm not perfect with video yet, my best friend was recording it all on her phone (my new years resolution will be to work on video with my backup camera), which I am very grateful for because her little brother needs to hear it for himself. It's rumored that having a brother means one big thing...

"Cooties!"

And also "watching boy shows", her Mom told me that Ava wasn't excited about having to watch boy shows (haha!) I love the mindset of children, they're so off the wall.

She's excited! She's going to be an incredible big sister, I can't wait to meet the little dude and hopefully Mommy comes up with a name better than Ava's suggestion....

Hulk, the baby will be named Hulk!

Just kidding, don't start embroidering blankets, bibs, and bags yet, Angela (Mom) isn't a fan of that name, but Ava said it was cool, so it's kind of sticking for me. (Searching for the perfect Hulk set to use for newborn pictures, right now!)

Had a great time! Thank you, Angela and Ava, for hiring me for this beautiful announcement.
